For those unfamiliar with my work on LOTRO, the housing system is one that I have taken under my wing and done the best I can to introduce new features, decorations, and whole neighborhoods with minimal additional support. This time around, another of our World Designers wanted to take a stab and building a neighborhood – with me in a supporting and more business-facing role for the product.

This neighborhood has been long anticipated by our player base, ever since we first suggested an Elf-themed premium housing neighborhood was next on the schedule. And it’s very awesome to have been able to tour it for the players a couple of weeks ago. The feature itself is now LIVE on LOTRO’s game worlds if you are interested in checking it out and purchasing a home for yourself!
